I Ching (The Oracle) is pronounced as Yi Ching.
I Ching is an ancient chinese form of divination. Everything in the Universe contains Yin & Yang. It is connected and related to the Yin & Yang balance - consistent changes of all things.
The concept of Yin & Yang illustrates 2 sides of a single entity. Yin is the opposite of Yang and Yang is the opposite of Yin.

Female, dark, passive, light, fragile, weak. Yin symbolises as "—" negative. |

Male, bright, active, heavy, solid, strong. Yang symbolises as "+" positive. |
A complete line is Yang . A broken line is Yin . I Ching consists of 64 hexagrams, which is made up of named six-lined hexgrams, which were formed by pairing the eight trigrams of which no two are identical.
The trigrams containing three complete lines is regarded as Yang. The trigrams containing three broken lines is regarded as Yin.
Each hexgram has its own name, number and meaning. Those which contain odd numbers are Yang, while those with even numbers are Yin.
A conversation of the judgement by being an answer to a question, or an explanation for all possible events.

Trigrams - Early and Later Heavenly Diagrams
Each trigram consists of the combination of 3 continuous straight lines and 3 broken lines. The straight continuous lines represent Yang and broken lines represent Yin.
They are referred to as Early Heavenly Diagram and Later Heavenly Diagram arrangements. Each Trigram has a wide variety, in-depth meanings according to the way in which Yin & Yang are combined.

'Each of the eight trigrams occupy 45 degrees of the Fengshui compass and has respective definitions, relationships, directions, and in-depth classic meanings.
